Our journey began with a vision to provide specialized education and support for children with cognitive, developmental, and learning challenges. Over the years, our commitment to inclusivity and holistic care has grown, leading to the expansion of our programs and services.

In 1986, we established the Sunflower Special School to cater to the educational needs of children facing cognitive, developmental, and learning challenges.
Recognizing the importance of skill-building, we expanded our offerings in 2001 to include vocational training in areas like tailoring, candle making, and eco-friendly crafts.
In 2019, we achieved accreditation by the National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) under the Ministry of Education, Government of India, allowing us to extend our educational services to a broader spectrum of learners.
Our commitment to providing comprehensive care led to the establishment of an orphanage, offering food, shelter, clothing, and educational support to disadvantaged children.
We integrated a range of therapies, including Speech, Physio, Dance, and Music, recognizing the importance of holistic well-being for our beneficiaries.
Through our programs, we have witnessed remarkable achievements. Many of our former students have not only overcome challenges but have excelled in various fields, including education, vocational endeavors, and professional careers. We take pride in their accomplishments as they continue to contribute to society.
Our journey has been both inspiring and challenging. While we celebrate our achievements, we recognize the need for continued support to expand our services, reach more individuals, and provide a permanent shelter that will enhance the quality of care we offer.
